Paul Scharner says he's willing to play anywhere for Wigan Athletic as they battle to beat the drop.
The Austrian midfielder admits defeat to Manchester City was a setback.
He told the Wigan Evening Post: "We have to look to get as many points as possible - not just looking to get four or five but to go for all 18.
"If we can get 18 points, we will be totally safe, and that should be our target.
"I am very confident looking at the next few matches, because Steve Gohouri did very well when he came on and he is a great substitute at the back for Gary.
"I am also happy to help out if the manager wants me to, because it's all about the team and helping to keep Wigan in the Premier League."
