West Bromwich Albion may offer new terms to midfielder Paul Scharner.

Scharner is now off contract and waiting on a decision from new manager Steve Clarke about whether he will be kept on.

Baggies chief Dan Ashworth said: "Steve was appointed and I was on holiday for a few days, so we've only had a few days together to run through the squad. We'll have some meetings with the rest of the staff over the next few days and we'll look to mould and build a squad together."
