Paul Scharner has rapped Wigan Athletic teammates over the way they collapse when going behind.
The Austria defender says it's time for them to start fighting more when going a goal down.
Scharner said: "We have conceded far too many goals that don't paint a very good picture. It is clear that we have to improve upon this for the final games of the campaign.
"I certainly don't think there are any issues with the ability we have within the team or the tactics we use. It's simply a case of having the right mentality.
"When we concede a goal, more times than not our heads drop and we are not strong enough to get back into the game. That's an area that has to change if we are to turn things around and have a strong finish.
"Going behind in games happens often but while it's only one goal you have to remain positive. You have to still believe you can get something out of the match.
"I think that is a big area we have to focus on strengthening."
