Paul Scharner is keen for international colleague Jurgen Macho to join him at West Bromwich Albion. Austria international Macho has Premier League experience from his time with Sunderland and Chelsea and has been tipped for a return to the top-flight.
The 33-year-old is currently plying his trade in Greece with Panionios and Scharner is confident terms can be agreed for his fellow countryman.
Scharner said: "I reckon a deal can be done for Jurgen."
