Paul Scharner has criticised Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez's signings on the eve of tonight's big game against Liverpool.
Speaking with Sportnet, the 29-year-old appeared to criticise Martinez's recruitment policy.
"In England, a relegation battle is like going to war," he said. "We signed ten players in the summer who are not aware of this because they had no Premier League experience.
"A draw on Monday [against Liverpool] would be no use. We need three points so that our negative run is finally over."
