New West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has restored confidence to the Baggies camp claims Paul Scharner. The Baggies are still in a Premier League relegation battle, but have cause for optimism after finding form of late after just one defeat in their last six top flight fixtures.
A 3-1 derby day victory over local rivals Birmingham on Saturday has helped to lift spirits even further, with Hodgson's arrival as manager having the desired effect on results.
On Hodgson's impact, Scharner said: "Since he took over we have all spent half a day each week going over things.
"Everyone knows the systems, tactics and what their job is.
"Roy has brought some belief back to the team."
