Raul insists he will honour his two-year deal at Schalke.
The Real Madrid legend has been linked with Aston Villa, Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers after the sacking at Schalke of coach Felix Magath.
Raul told Sport Bild: "I will stay until 2012. Magath wanted me in the team at all costs but I didn't sign a contract with Felix Magath, I signed with Schalke 04. I am a professional and I will continue to give my best."
And he has high hopes for the remainder of this season.
"We want to win the German Cup," he continued. "It is all the more important for me as I have never won a national cup."
