Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones has joined Turkish club Besiktas on loan.
The 32-year old USA international has penned a six-month deal with the Istanbul outfit with the view to a permanent contract.
Jones posted the following on Twitter:

In addition, the former Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen and Blackburn Rovers man told reporters: "When I got the first offer by Besiktas, I was very excited.
"I'm going to play for a club that has a lot of fans. I looked at some videos of them on YouTube and cannot wait to be among them."
