Holland international Klaas-Jan Huntelaar admits the resignation of Fabio Capello as England manager came as a shock to him.
The Italian left his post as Three Lions boss earlier this month and Huntelaar, who is preparing to face England in a friendly at Wembley tonight, believes it will have a negative impact on their chances at this summer's European Championships.
"This is not good news for England because another coach will arrive with a new system and they will need to adapt.
"The next Euros will be very open. For me, England is among the list of candidates, without doubt, though this change on the bench could affect things.""Personally, I was surprised by the exit of Fabio Capello before the Euros," said the FC Schalke star.
