Schalke have joined the battle for Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne.
The young Belgian is starring on-loan at Werder Bremen this season and their former football chief Klaus Allofs has admitted he wants to sign him for Wolfsburg.
Sport says Schalke are also interested in De Bruyne, whose loan with Werder runs to the end of this season.
