Schalke are eyeing Everton defender Johnny Heitinga.

Heitinga has already attracted interest from Bayern Munich and is now being linked with Schalke, where compatriot Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is already playing.

For his part, Heitinga insists he's happy at Everton, particularly as he is now playing at centre-half.
