Schalke chief Clemens Tönnies says they're determined to keep hold of defender Benedikt Höwedes.
The Germany international has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool this season after admitting ambitions beyond the Bundesliga.
"Benni is with Schalke and we have not scheduled for him to leave," Tonnies told BILD.
"I believe and hope that he will stay for a long time."
Howedes' contract with Schalke runs to 2014.
