Schalke 04 coach Felix Magath says a deal for Real Madrid striker Raul is close.
Despite competition from Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham, Magath is confident Raul will be moving to Germany this summer.
"Raul has always shown an interest in joining us," he said. "We think he could be with us in a few days or weeks.
"I am convinced that Raul will play next season at Schalke 04."
