Schalke coach Magath invites Man Utd bid for Neuer

Schalke coach Felix Magath is ready to listen to Manchester United's offer for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele has recommended Neuer to Sir Alex Ferguson as a possible replacement for Edwin Van der Sar, says Bild.

Responding to rumours that United had renewed their interest in the 23 year old, Magath said: "If a player wants away and sees a better future somewhere else, then I sit down with them at a table."

Neuer, 23, has been capped twice by Germany.

neuer will be a great buy......a future kahn for sure.....

kitkat is a great keeper (and a great name too for him) lol
and clustim he's been marvelous lately. he's always been good despite some shaky moments he lets the least silly goals in, the near post ones, the ones you feel that 'oh he should have at least dived for that', or 'dived further', even including VDS, for all his personality, wealth of experience and sheer class, he does let you down with his effort at times - barca first goal against eto, utd vs liverpool not covering the near post against torres, out of the lost kit kat is the most enthusiastic. and he goes that extra 20/30 yards (literally-aggregate), like Akinfeev and Casillas of the past, Smeichel, and also his country man too.

if he just improves some aspects of his game he'd be amazing. man u defenders make silly mistakes and concede soft goals, w/ kit kat's lack of ego he is a great candidate, as i am sure akinfeev wud be too. i don't rate foster just yet makes way too many mistakes, up kit kat!
