Schalke chiefs are confident of keeping Julian Draxler beyond Friday's transfer deadline.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to make a late move for the Germany international this week and has refused to rule out such a move during post-match interviews in recent days.
However, a Schalke source told BILD last night: "On the one hand, there has been no official contact with Arsenal.
"Secondly, no one here is thinking about selling the player."
Draxler's current buyout clause is set at €45.5 million.
