Schalke chief Horst Heldt insists there's been no offer from Liverpool for Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

Heldt says there's no plans to sell the Greece defender.

"There is nothing to these rumours. There is no offer for Papadopoulos. Neither Liverpool nor from another club," said Heldt.

"On the contrary. We are pleased that he makes progress after his knee injury and hopefully he'll soon again be available to us.

"We plan to use him."
