Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt has confirmed interest for Fulham for Sascha Riether.

Fulham are ready to sell the fullback, despite only signing him permanently last month from Cologne.

Heldt told Kicker: "We are not negotiating at the moment. [But] if we work hard and continue we hope that the commitment will come about."
