The race is on for Max Meyer after his club, Schalke, admitted discussions over a new contract had ceased for good.
The 22-year-old, who will become a free agent at the end of the season, has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham.
"At the moment we can and must expect that Max leaves the club in the summer. Everything suggests that," said Schalke's Sporting Director Christian Heidel.
"At the moment there is no offer from us and no wish from Max to have a conversation again."
