Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler is refusing to respond to the latest round of transfer rumours.
Former Norway striker Jan Aage Fjortoft, now a Bundesliga pundit, says Arsenal and Bayern Munich are battling for the youngster's signature.
"I think that Arsenal had a great interest in Draxler. Bayern has, but then probably decided: Wait until the summer, then we'll see what happens," said Fjortoft.
Asked about his situation, Draxler was coy.
"I have decided not to comment on these rumors," he said.
"In principle, it has no influence on myself. It always leads to instability, which need not be."
