Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has jumped to the defence of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli is again being hammered by the local press after defeat to Napoli.

"He is so strong that when he eventually takes full awareness of his ability, he will be the best in the world," declared former teammate Boateng.
