Francis Coquelin could miss just two weeks of action with Arsenal.
The French midfielder sustained a knee injury during Saturday's 3-0 win over Chelsea and has since undergone scans to assess the damaged area.
Reports from L'Equipe indicate that Coquelin's problem, which stems from an older injury, will only see him sidelined for two weeks.
Initial fears were that the 25-year-old had ruptured a ligament, which may have seen him out for two months, but fresh reports indicate that he may only be out for as many as 15 days.
