Ricky Sbragia is expected to join good friend Sam Allardyce at Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Mail says Sunderland have offered former boss Sbragia the chief scout's role following Mick Brown's exit but he is expected to join Blackburn.

Sbragia worked with Allardyce at Bolton Wanderers.
