Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is confident of their Premiership survival chances after seeing his players' approach to training.
"They've looked very positive," he said.
"Even though we lost at Manchester City last game, we played a lot better than against Wigan in the previous game and the game was clouded by George McCartney's sending-off.
"We're keeping the pressure off them and they seem to be enjoying training.
"The pressure comes at five-to-three when they have to cross the white line and we see then how the lads react, but we have a fair amount of experience.
"I am sure and they are sure we will get the points needed - I expect six to nine points."
