For the Ballon d'Or, Javier Saviola says he'd vote for Barcelona's Lionel Messi ahead of Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas.
There's a big push from Real to have Casillas crowned this year's Ballon d'Or, but Saviola obviously hasn't read the script.
Saviola said: "Casillas has his qualities, he was champion of the Euros, which makes him among the season's best. If I had to choose a goalkeeper, I'd choose Iker, but I like football, players who try and play well and take risks, that's why I choose Messi. Not for anything else.
"My thought is that Messi deserves it as today nobody plays like him. Leo is a very complete player and is destined to be one of the greatest in history."
