Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage feels Philippe Coutinho should threaten to strike to get a move to Barcelona.
Savage reckons the Brazil international might not have the opportunity to link up with Barcelona in future.
During a conversation with a BBC Radio 5 Live caller, he said: "At the end of the day, if Liverpool don't want to sell him, he'll stay there.
"If the transfer window closes and he's still at Liverpool, he'll go into the team and he'll have to be professional and play.
"But, if it was me, as I done at Blackburn, [and] at Birmingham [during his playing career], it's wrong, it's completely and utterly wrong, Philippe Coutinho's got one chance and this might be his only chance.
"He might only have one chance, he might not, you [caller] might be 100 per cent correct. But if this is only chance to play with [Luis] Suarez, with [Lionel] Messi, and the fee is astronomical, if it was me I would go into Klopp and say: 'Listen, I'm not playing again. I'm going to Barcelona, so do what you need to do.'"
