Saul Niguez says Atletico Madrid must be stronger in attack after their stalemate with Leganes.

Eyebrows were raised when Antoine Griezmann was substituted with 25 minutes left to play, despite the fact Los Colchoneros were still chasing a goal.

"The team has to analyse ourselves, everyone has to give a little bit more from their own position," he said.

"In the first-half we had a couple of chances but we lacked a desire to be more reliable up front, we have to show more character when attacking.

"We knew this would be a difficult game for us, the problem is that we have not managed to score a goal, something that has happened a few times this season, and this is why we have to be critical of ourselves."
