New Sheffield United co-owner Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has given his support to boss David Weir despite just four points from the Blades opening six league games. "Of course he is safe. I read a lot about him before I got here and I was very impressed when I met him," Prince Abdullah told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"A coach is as good as his players so you have to give him the best tools and then when we have done that hopefully he will be successful.

"We have to trust our coach."
