Saudi Arabia hit the lead then fell behind to finally get a vital 3-2 win against UAE in Riyadh.

An early penalty from Abdoh Autef was cancelled out just prior to half-time by UAE's Mohamed Al Shehhi who headed home.

Then the visitors managed to go ahead through Ismail Matar who struck from 30 yards to stun the home crowd and give UAE a 2-1 lead at the break.

An equaliser was eventually conjured by the Saudis midway through the second half but it happened to be an own goal from UAE defender Fares Juma and with five minutes remaining, Naif Hazazi managed to head home from the box and record a wonderful fighting victory for Saudi Arabia.
