Sassuolo hope to keep hold of Richmond Boakye

Sassuolo want to keep hold of Ghana attacker Richmond Boakye.

Boayke is co-owned between Genoa and Juventus.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward spent the last two seasons on loan at Sassuolo in Serie B, scoring 21 goals.

Sassuolo director general Nereo Bonato said: "For Boakye we have to wait and see what Genoa and Juve intend to do. At the moment he is at the Under-20 World Cup, so when he returns we'll discuss the situation.

"He has done well with us over the past two years and we'd like to keep him in the Neroverde jersey."
