Sassuolo sporting director Nereo Bonato has confirmed interest in Juventus wing-back Reto Ziegler.

The Swiss spent the last two campaigns on loan at Fenerbahce and Lokomotiv Moscow.

"We like Ziegler," sporting director Bonato said. "We are looking to add a left-sided player to the squad.

"The Swiss could be the right man to bring in, but our problem is that his salary is too high for us…"
