Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali insists there's no plans to sell Francesco Acerbi.

Carnevali says Gregoire Defrel will also not leave.

“Roma did not directly ask us for Defrel and in any case we won't sell him in this transfer session because we don't want to weaken the squad," director general Carnevali told Tuttomercatoweb.

“We did receive an offer from Leicester for Acerbi, but we turned it down.

"If there is to be any movement during this window, it'll be to bring prospective players in."
