Sassuolo coach Di Francesco: Juventus should've taken Berardi

Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco is surprised Juventus failed to sign Domenico Berardi.

Berardi was expected to move to Juve over the summer.

“I think Domenico's intentions had an influence too," Di Francesco told Radio Deejay.

“He is young and wants to play regularly, which in a big club is not always possible. I would've signed Berardi if I were Juventus, but I am happy he is still in my team.

“Zaza did convert the first really dangerous scoring opportunity he got, but the results don't depend on just one factor.

“He had a few difficulties at the start, but I can see he's different now and will do well at Juventus."
