Sassuolo upset Inter 1-0 on the opening weekend of the season.
But De Zerbi says: “It's football in August, you can't read too much into some results.
“Their weaknesses? It's impossible to know where the merits of a team end and where the demerits of the other begin.
“There are certain opponents we can only beat if they don't play a great game. We played at a high level even if we could have done better, using the ball more in their half to try and take the sting out of the game.
“We hadn't prepared anything special to stop them, we studied their movements and we knew that in the defensive phase they'd play a certain way.
“With possession of the ball they go to a back-three, with [Marcelo] Brozovic as the playmaker and [Kwadwo] Asamoah as mezzala.
“Sassuolo were effective in organising the game and always manoeuvring at high speed."
