Sassuolo sports chief Nereo Bonato has warned Manchester United they face plenty of competition for Domenico Berardi.

The 18 year-old striker is a top target for United.

But Bonato told Calciomercato.it: "This season he has made the first team, with coach Di Francesco giving him confidence. It's paying off, a goal and an assist in the first game.

"Many scouts are following him, I would say all the top clubs.

"Manchester United? There are many teams.

"There has, been requests from officials of these clubs, there are rumours, but nothing direct so far."
