Sarri gone as Ancelotti thrashes out Napoli terms with ADL

Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti is in talks tonight about taking the Napoli job.

Ancelotti was seen arriving at the Rome residence of Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, a movie producer and patron of the Serie A club, this evening.

CalcioNapoli24 reports both Ancelotti and De Laurentiis have called their lawyers and want them in the building tonight so contracts can be drawn up and even signed.

The Maurizio Sarri era would seem to be well and truly over, as Napoli are no longer prepared to wait for him to make up his mind.

Sarri is also of interest to Chelsea and Zenit St Petersburg, but said he might take a year off.

Ancelotti is close to settling on a two-year deal with Napoli, that includes an option for a third.
