Former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri has accepted personal terms with Chelsea.
Sarri's representatives reached an agreement on Thursday after seven hours of negotiations with Chelsea officials in London.
Gazzetta.it says Sarri has agreed a three-year contract worth €6m-a-season.
The final obstacle remains Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis' demand that Chelsea pay a €8m break clause in Sarri's contract. There is hope that De Laurentiis will waive the fee to allow Sarri to move on.
Meanwhile, Sarri's representatives have inform Chelsea he'd like to see deals for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain signed this summer. Higuain played for Sarri at Napoli.
