Sao Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar has expressed interest in AC Milan midfielder Kaka.
Kaka is weighing up his options this month while taking a break at home in Brazil.
"Officially, all I can tell you is that Kaka won't come back to Sao Paulo unless he wants to himself," Aidar stated.
"It's certain that if he shows himself to be interested in a return we would be all too ready to open a dialogue with him.
"To get him to come back we will also have to speak to FIFA to see whether we could increase the number of players in our squad.
"Often in football things seem impossible but then they happen. In this case with Kaka, that could happen."
