Sao Paulo insists everything is above board over the decision to release Adriano early from his loan.

Adriano is returning to Inter Milan ahead of schedule and Sao Paulo sporting director Carlos Augusto de Barros e Silva explained: "We have a balanced squad and it was better for Adriano to go back, given that we won't be able to count on him for the rest of the campaign."
