Real Madrid midfielder Kaka is being lined up for a sensational return to Sao Paulo. El Confidencial says Sao Paulo have demanded Kaka in negotiations with Real over the sale of young midfielder Lucas.

Kaka faces being squeezed out at Real and has attracted interest from PSG this month.

Sao Paulo have slapped a €30 million price-tag on Lucas, but are willing to drop their valuation if Kaka is included in Real's offer.

The former AC Milan star's wages won't be a problem for Sao Paulo, whose board are confident they can secure sponsors to cover his salary - just as Flamengo did with Ronaldinho and Santos for Neymar.
