Sao Paulo chief: We want deal for Inter Milan's Adriano

Sao Paulo sporting director Marco Aurelio Cunha admits they'd love to sign Inter Milan striker Adriano.

Adriano is using Sao Paulo's facilities as he is treated for depression at a city clinic and Cunha said: "I'd be delighted to call on Adriano for next year.

"We have four physios, a nutritionist and two personal trainers, but it seems that Adriano's problem is much more psychological. Still, it's too early to talk about it."

Meanwhile, the man himself is keen to discuss his present rather than his future.

"Nobody knows the future, I just want to get back to being happy," Adriano told journalists.

"I'm here to undergo a course of psychology. I just want to play again, but I'm not thinking into the future. Here there is a great system and people who know how to help me."
