Inter Milan have been told to forget about trying to land Sao Paulo star Lucas.
There have long been reports that the Nerazzurri are interested in Brazilian international midfielder Lucas Moura.
"It is true there was contact with Inter in January, but our response was negative," Sao Paulo director Marco Aurelio Cunha told FCInterNews.it.
"We can certainly afford to keep him and do not need to sell our players to raise funds. Lucas is not for sale this year, as Sao Paulo intend to keep him for at least another two seasons.
"The lad really wants to play in the Olympics too. It is difficult to calculate his price-tag, as last year we received an offer from Russia for 25m, but for various reasons it did not go through.
"In any case, the player wants to stay and win with this jersey."
