Setanta Sports claims Liverpool are interested in Sao Paulo's highly-rated centre back Aislan. Reds boss Rafael Benitez is reportedly willing pay close to the players buy-out clause which is set at £10.5 million for the 20 year-old.

Paolino Oscar, the players agent, told UOL Esporte, "They had revealed interest in the past one or two months, when the window was open.
