Santos star Robinho admits using the local bus service in Manchester.
The Brazilian striker - who was the first superstar signing of Sheikh Mansour's Manchester City reign - has opened up on a story that set tongues wagging during his time in English football.
Robinho, who earned in the region of £140,000-a-week at City said: "I am a human being just like anyone else.
"But because I am a football player people sometimes find it weird.
"Before I started to play football I used public transport all my life.
"I don't have any problem with that so yes I used it."
On his time in Manchester, he added: "It was a beautiful city, but it was very cold. I wasn't used to so much cold and rain.
"But it was a city that received me very well, with fantastic facilities. I enjoyed living in Manchester and my family also liked it a lot."
