Santos are taking legal action against the father of Barcelona star Neymar.

Punto Pelota says Santos have announced they've filed a lawsuit against Neymar Snr in order to release documents regarding his son's move from the club to Barcelona.

The goal of Santos is to "analyze" the transfer documents, produced last August, to "know the reasons" behind the finances regarding Neymar Snr's involvement in the sale.

The Sao Paulo club said they decided to go to court "after exhausting all friendly attempts" to see the contracts and documents signed between N & N Sports and Business Consulting, Sports Marketing Neymar and Barcelona.
