Santos president Luis Alvaro Ribeiro admits star attacker Paulo Henrique Ganso will be sold in the summer.
Ganso will now be cashed in after a three-hour meeting yesterday involving Ribeiro, Ganso and his representatives over a new contract ended in stalemate.
O Globo have confirmed the interest of Chelsea and Manchester United in the rangy attacker.
And Ribeiro revealed last night: "Ganso said little, but he insisted he wants to play in Europe. It is a dream completely understandable."
He added: "We are willing to listen to proposals, but they must suit us."
Inter Milan and AC Milan in Italy are also chasing the goal scorer.
