Santos hero Robinho has swipe at Man City boss Mancini

Santos loan signing Robinho admits he struggled to understand the tactics of Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

Robinho admits he does not understand the approach of Mancini.

"He has a different way of thinking," said Robinho. "In Brazil, the coach respects the player’s characteristics.

"In Europe, they are used to playing with two lines of four players, and they don’t want to know what you can do. There, if you are a forward, the coach sends you on to the pitch just to run. You have to run and that’s it."

I watched a compilation of all real madrids 120+ goals from season 2008-09
he was part of 50% of those goals and was easily one of there best players.

I think he went to city for the money and it showed in his performances...
Now that city are shaping up into a decent team, i think having to fight for his place was hard to register for such high profile player, playing at a developing club....

He will regret not showing more interest from the start.. Instead of leaving his stamp on british football for all the right reasons, he will go down as the most expensive flop PL history!

Quite clearly Robinho doesn't know how to work hard and defend.

Robinho is trouble, wherever he goes.
