Santos have seen off competition from Manchester City and Barcelona to secure youngster Victor Andrade to a pro deal.

The 16 year-old has penned pro forms with Santos, despite offers from City and Barca.

Andrade has been likened to Santos star Neymar and his new contract carries a €50 million buyout clause for foreign clubs.

"Although we had offers from abroad, and even more advantageous from our point of view, we opted for the Santos," said the player's father, Jorge Nelson Santos.

Andrade visited City in 2009 and also trained with Benfica before returning to Brazil.
