Santi Cazorla is staying with Arsenal, it has been revealed.

The Spain midfielder has missed much of this season due to problems from ankle surgery.

TMW says he isn't expected to be back in action until October, however it will be as an Arsenal player.

Cazorla's deal expires in June, but Arsenal have chosen to trigger a 12 month option in the agreement.

The new contract was approved by manager Arsene Wenger and will see Cazorla now stay with Arsenal until 2018.
