Roque Santa Cruz may not play again for Blackburn Rovers this season.

Santa Cruz, 27, sidelined for two weeks with a knee injury, misses tomorrow's match against West Ham.

He explained: "It is tendinitis and I have already played some matches in pain. I gave up training two weeks ago.

"Not training does not help me physically. It is a difficult situation and we'll have a talk with the medical staff."

Blackburn rejected a £20million bid from Manchester City for Cruz in January and are just one point above the relegation zone.
