Julio Santa Cruz was delighted to ink his three-year Blackburn Rovers contract yesterday.

18-year-old Julio, the younger brother of star centre forward Roque Santa Cruz, was previously with Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno and has signed a three year deal with the Ewood Park club.

The club are now awaiting international clearance, but Julio is delighted to be here.

"I am very happy to be here at Blackburn, it will be an amazing adventure for me," said Julio after signing his first professional contract.
